Flash and Flames at electric loco in Mumbai – Valsad train; Electric Supply shut

Surat: Western Railway today informed that incidence of flash and flames in the electric loco of train no. 59023 Mumbai Central – Valsad Fast Passenger was reported at 19:56 hrs today(Wednesday).
The Railways further informed that all passengers are safe and there has been no harm or injury to anyone.
‘For safety, Over Head Electric supply was switched off for sometime,’ Western Railway state adding that the train was stationed at Kelve Road platform.
‘Senior officials and staff were present at site and down trains towards Surat may get delayed,’ the Statement informed.
Additional bus services was arranged from Kelve Road station towards Palghar and Dahanu Road for passengers of Train no 59023 Mumbai Central – Valsad Fast Passenger. Train 12903 Mumbai Central – Amritsar Golden Temple Mail was provided with additional halts today at all stations between Kelve Road & Valsad for the convenience of passengers of Mumbai Central – Valsad Fast Passenger.
