ACB Gujarat nabs UGVCL staffer in bribe case in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat today nabbed a UGVCL employee ain the Changodar area of Ahmedabad in a bribe case involving a sum of ₹15,000.
As per the ACB, the complainant had submitted an online application on the UGVCL website to increase the load on a meter at their pharma company. To expedite the work, the accused, Dhanraj Dipakkumar Patel, 36, posted as Junior Assistant (Class-3) in Changodar Sub-Division, demanded a bribe of ₹15,000 from the complainant.
Unwilling to pay the bribe, the complainant approached the ACB, which organized a trap. During the trap today, the accused accepted the bribe amount from the complainant and was immediately caught red-handed. DeshGujarat
