Jamnagar: The Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) will enthrall the audience in Mehsana as it takes to the skies on Friday for an airshow. Nine Hawk Mk132 aircraft will perform aerobatic maneuvers around 10 AM from Mehsana Airport. This is the first time the town of Mehsana will witness such a spectacle.

The Suryakiran Aerobatic Team was established in 1996 and is the only nine-aircraft aerobatic team in Asia, while being among the few in the world. The team has performed in India as well as abroad, including the UAE, Thailand, China, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. SKAT has completed over 700 airshows. The team’s motto, “Sarvada Sarvottam,” means “Always the Best.”

Today, the SKAT team had a practice session, and people were amazed to watch the rehearsal in anticipation of the final show tomorrow morning.
