PM Modi inaugurates, lays foundation stone for ₹1,220 crore projects at Ekta Nagar

Ekta Nagar (Kevadia): On the eve of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) and the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹1,220 crore at the Statue of Unity complex in Ekta Nagar through e-inauguration and e-foundation ceremonies.
During the event, the Prime Minister inaugurated projects worth ₹509.89 crore, including:

GSEC & SSNNL Quarters built at a cost of ₹56.33 crore,

Birsa Munda Bhavan costing ₹303 crore,

Hospitality District (Phase 1) worth ₹54.65 crore,
-
25 e-buses costing ₹30 crore,
-
Satpuda Protection Wall and Riverfront developed for ₹20.72 crore,
-
Vaman Vriksha Vatika (Bonsai Garden) built at ₹18.68 crore,
-
Walkway (Phase 2) costing ₹8.09 crore,
-
Approach Road worth ₹5.55 crore,
-
E-bus Charging Depot at ₹5.52 crore,
-
Smart Bus Stops (Phase 2) worth ₹4.68 crore,
-
CC Road costing ₹3.18 crore,
-
Dam Replica and Garden worth ₹1.48 crore, and
-
SBB Garden at ₹1.09 crore.
These newly inaugurated projects will enhance visitor amenities and boost tourism infrastructure in Ekta Nagar.
Foundation Stone Laid for 10 Major Projects Integrating Heritage and Modern Development
On the same occasion, Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone for 10 key projects symbolizing the fusion of history, heritage, and modern progress. The projects include:

CISF Barracks (₹3.48 crore),

Jetty near Shoolpaneshwar Temple (₹12.50 crore), and

Rainforest Project (₹12.85 crore).
