Gujarat CM launches projects worth ₹545 crore in Rajkot

Rajkot: Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, who is on a visit to Rajkot today, inaugurated the Urban Development Journey – 20 Years of Success Story exhibition at the Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Art Gallery at Racecourse. During the visit, he also laid the foundation stone and dedicated various development works of the Rajkot Municipal Corporation worth ₹545.07 crore. In addition, a computerized draw was held for beneficiaries of the municipal housing scheme.

After inaugurating the exhibition, the Chief Minister reached Pramukh Swami Auditorium for the official ceremony, where multiple civic projects were launched and initiated. The event also included the lottery draw under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, allotting 709 residential units — 137 LIG (2BHK), 44 EWS-2 (1.5BHK), and 528 EWS-1 (1BHK).

  • Community Hall in Mavdi: To be developed on Kankot Road at a cost of ₹26.97 crore
