Fire breaks out at Palladium Business Hub in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: A fire broke out at Palladium Business Hub in Chandkheda this afternoon. Seventeen teams of the city fire brigade rushed to the scene and began operations to bring the blaze under control.
As per officials, at around 4:30 pm, a fire incident was reported in a room of Mulberry Thai Spa, located on the second floor of Palladium Business Hub in the Chandkheda area. Heavy smoke spread due to furniture inside the spa room, making firefighting operations challenging for the fire department.
Upon receiving information about the incident, fire brigade teams immediately rushed to the spot. As the building’s fire-fighting system was operational, its effective use helped bring the fire under control swiftly and prevented it from spreading further.
A total of 17 fire department vehicles were deployed at the site, including five water bowsers (20 KL each), two mini fighters, six first responders (Bolero), two ambulances, one first responder Scorpio and one emergency tender. Approximately 1,00,000 litres of water was used to douse the fire.
Overall, 56 fire personnel were involved in the operation, including firemen, jamadars, drivers, sub-officers, station officers, divisional officers and the additional chief fire officer.
