SMC to build new entry ramp to ease peak-hour congestion at Hirabag Junction

Surat: Taking note of heavy traffic on the road passing by Valluabhacharya Ashram School and congestion at Hirabag Junction during peak hours, Mayor Dakshesh Mavani conducted an on-site inspection today along with traffic police, local police, and officials from the Surat Municipal Corporation’s (SMC) Bridge Cell.
During the visit, the Mayor assessed the traffic situation and provided necessary instructions to the concerned officials to urgently carry out work, including the construction of an entry ramp connecting Ashvini Kumar–Valluabhacharya Road (Varachha Zone) to the Shrinathji Flyover Bridge before Kapodra Junction, along with other ancillary works.
Once the entry ramp is completed, traffic congestion at Hirabag Junction during peak hours is expected to reduce significantly, providing relief to commuters in the area.
