Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has issued a notification reorganising the jurisdiction of several villages across multiple districts by altering taluka boundaries under the Gujarat Land Revenue Code, 1879, according to an extraordinary notification published in the Gujarat Government Gazette on December 31, 2025.

The notification, issued by the Revenue Department under Section 7 of the Code, provides for the exclusion and inclusion of villages across talukas in Surat, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Narmada, Banaskantha, Tapi and Arvalli districts, with immediate administrative effect.

Here are the details as per notification: 

1. excludes the villages Salaiya, Kalibel, Godadha, Kimdungra, Regama, Dadakui, Ladkuva and Bori which form part of the Areth taluka of Surat District and includes the said villages in the Mandvi taluka of Surat District;

2. excludes the village Dahela which form part of the Santrampur taluka of Mahisagar District and includes the said village in the Godhar taluka of Mahisagar District;

3. excludes the villages Lalakpur, Ashivada, Vaviyamuvada, Singalgadh, Kenpur, Gothibada, Falva and Ranijini Padedi which form part of the Godhar taluka of Mahisagar District and includes the said villages in the Santrampur taluka of Mahisagar District;

4. The village Doli shall only be the part of Santrampur taluka of Mahisagar District and shall be deleted from Godhar taluka of Mahisagar District;

5. The Gavaliya village of Santrampur taluka of Mahisagar District shall be read as Galaliya and excludes the village Galaliya which form part of the Santrampur taluka of Mahisagar District and includes the said village in the Godhar taluka of Mahisagar District;

6. excludes the villages Motipura, Charan gam(namnar) and Aagarwada which form part of the Kothmba taluka of Mahisagar District and includes the said villages in the Lunawada taluka of Mahisagar District;

7. in Schedule-A of Notification No: GHM/2025/194/M/PFR/102025/918/L1 dated 24.09.2025, against Entry Nos. 85, 106 and 184 relating to Lunawada Taluka, Mahisagar District, the villages Chariya Napaniya, Nava Rabdiya and Machhiya Na Muvada shall be deleted and shall be substituted by Khodadaaamba (jungle), Lunawada and Chavadana Muvada respectively;

8. excludes the villages Dejhar(duban) and Vaghoi(duban) which form part of the Kothmba taluka of Mahisagar District and includes the said villages in the MorvaHadaf taluka of Panchamahal District;

9. excludes the villages Khaidipada and Rukhal which form part of the Chikda taluka of Narmada District and includes the said villages in the Dediapada taluka of Narmada District;

10. excludes the village Bariyani Hathod which form part of the Sukhsar taluka of Dahod District and includes the said village in the Fatepura taluka of Dahod District;

11. excludes the villages Chakaliya, Kakrakuva, Sabli, Tetariya, Kotda, Dhola Khakhara, Kachaldhara and Chatka which form part of the Jhalod taluka of Dahod District and includes the said villages in the Govind Guru Limdi taluka of Dahod District;

12. excludes the villages Verama, Jhara and Panch mahudi which form part of the Kothmba taluka of Mahisagar District and includes the said villages in the Lunawada taluka of Mahisagar District;

13. excludes the village Kunvarashi which form part of the Hadad taluka of Banaskantha District and includes the said village in the Danta taluka of Banaskantha District;

14. excludes the village Chembala which form part of the Kankarej taluka of Banaskantha District and includes the said village in the Ogad taluka of Banaskantha District;

15. The village Sadujivas shall be included in Ogad taluka of Banaskantha District;

16. The village Virpur(Hadad) of Danta taluka of Banaskantha District shall be read as Virpur(Lotol);

17. in Schedule-A of Notification No: GHM/2025/207/M/PFR/102025/918/L1 dated 24.09.2025, against Entry No.73 the village Vadpada P Umarda of Songadh Taluka of Tapi District shall be read as Vadada P Umarda;

18. excludes the village Gabat which form part of the Sathamba taluka of Arvalli District and includes the said village in the Bayad taluka of Arvalli District;

19. excludes the villages Boriya, Kotha, Asundariya, Junakheda, Chari, Khutkhar, Balujinamuvada, Mor, Undara and Ramjininal which form part of the Godhar taluka of Mahisagar District and includes the said villages in the Shahera taluka of Panchmahal District. DeshGujarat
