GujCET 2026 exam form submission deadline extended with late fee

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has decided to accept GujCET 2026 application forms with a late fee for admissions to degree engineering, degree pharmacy and diploma pharmacy colleges across the state.

The original deadline for submitting online applications ended on January 6. Thereafter, the board extended the application window until January 16, subject to payment of a late fee. Candidates applying during this extended period will be required to pay Rs 1,000 as a penalty.

GSHSEB conducts GujCET for admission to engineering and pharmacy programmes in Gujarat. The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on March 29 for Group A, B and AB students of the Class 12 Science stream who are seeking admission to the above courses.

Earlier, the board had already extended the deadline for online applications up to January 6 before allowing the current late-fee window. DeshGujarat
