Temperatures Stay Below Normal in Most Parts of Gujarat; Ahmedabad Chilly at 12.1°C

Ahmedabad: Cold conditions continue to prevail across large parts of Gujarat, with both maximum and minimum temperatures remaining below normal at most stations, according to the latest weather report issued by the India Meteorological Department this morning. Naliya reported the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 6.4°C, nearly 3°C below normal.
While major cities also witnessed chilly weather. Ahmedabad recorded a maximum temperature of 27.6°C, which was near normal, while the minimum temperature dipped slightly below normal at 12.1°C. Baroda registered a daytime high of 28.2°C, about 1°C below normal, with a minimum of 13.6°C. Surat reported a maximum of 29.2°C, 1°C below normal, and a minimum of 14.6°C. Rajkot recorded a maximum of 28.0°C, 1°C below normal, while its minimum temperature fell to 10.0°C, around 2.5°C below normal.
Amreli, Bhuj and Porbandar recorded maximum temperatures 3°C to 4°C below normal, while Dwarka, Bhavnagar and Kandla also remained colder than usual. Deesa and Gandhinagar reported minimum temperatures close to 10°C, further reflecting the intensified winter chill across northern Gujarat, Kutch and Saurashtra.
Meteorological officials indicated that similar cold and dry conditions are likely to continue over the next few days, particularly during early morning and late night hours.
