Five-Day Mahashivratri Fair 2026 at Devmogra from February 15 to 19

Dediapada: A preparatory meeting was held at the temple premises in Devmogra regarding the organization of the five-day Mahashivratri fair to be held from February 15 to 19, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Dediapada Provincial Officer Juhi Pandey.

The fair will be organized at the Kuldevi Panduri Mata (also known as Yaha Mogi Mata) Temple, the ancestral deity of the tribal community. The meeting focused on ensuring smooth, orderly, and safe darshan arrangements for the lakhs of devotees expected to visit during the fair.

Key issues discussed included police deployment, traffic management, State Transport (ST) bus arrangements, parking facilities, availability of adequate drinking water, cleanliness during the five-day event, health services, and installation of CCTV cameras at the temple premises and other important locations.

After the meeting, Provincial Officer Juhi Pandey, along with officials from various departments, conducted an on-site inspection of parking areas and bypass roads and issued necessary instructions to concerned officers.

It is noteworthy that the Mahashivratri fair at Devmogra is a major religious event, attracting devotees from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. In recent years, there has been a significant rise in the number of devotees. During the five-day fair, an estimated 10 to 12 lakh devotees are expected to visit the temple.

Keeping in view the anticipated turnout, the district administration has made extensive preparations to ensure timely availability of all essential facilities.

Those present at the meeting included police officers, Devmogra Mai Mandir Trust President and Vice President Nansing Vasava, other trust members, Sarpanch Rinaben Vasava, Sagbara Taluka Panchayat member Bahadur Vasava, and officials from various district- and taluka-level departments.
