Ahmedabad: In a move to increase train speeds and improve punctuality, Western Railway has introduced partial changes in the timings of three trains in the Ahmedabad division between Sabarmati and Mehsana. The revised schedule will come into effect from February 1.

According to the updated timetable, Train No. 12462 Sabarmati–Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express will now depart from Sabarmati 10 minutes later, at 16:55 hrs. The train will also arrive at Mehsana 10 minutes late, at 17:38 hrs, and will depart from there at 17:40 hrs.

Similarly, Train No. 12548 Sabarmati–Agra Cantt Express and Train No. 22548 Sabarmati–Gwalior Express will operate with revised timings on four days a week. These trains will depart Sabarmati five minutes late, at 17:00 hrs, reach Mehsana seven minutes late at 17:47 hrs, and leave Mehsana at 17:49 hrs.
