Gujarat Police Unarmed PSI recruitment: 1,023 candidates shortlisted for document verification

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has announced the next stage of the Unarmed Police Sub-Inspector (P.S.I.) recruitment process for the year 2024-25, being conducted for a total of 472 posts under Advertisement No. GPRB/202324/1.

The written examination (Paper-1 and Paper-2) for candidates who qualified in the physical test was held on April 13, 2025, with 1,02,935 candidates appearing. As per recruitment rules, Paper-2 (Descriptive) was evaluated for 49,591 candidates who secured at least 40% marks in both Part-A and Part-B of Paper-1. Of these, 8,679 candidates scored 40 or more marks in Paper-2 and were declared qualified.

Following the examination rules, around twice the number of vacancies are called for document verification. Accordingly, 1,023 candidates have been shortlisted for document verification based on merit, and the list was published on the Recruitment Board’s website on January 29, 2026.

The document verification process will be conducted from February 5 to February 10, 2026, at the Gujarat Police Academy, Karai, Gandhinagar. Reserved category candidates must submit the required documents as per the instructions issued on the board’s website.
