Bullet Train Project: SYSTRA–DB JV gets PMC contract for signalling & ticketing systems

New Delhi: The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has issued a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to France-based SYSTRA, in joint venture with DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, for providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for key system works of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) project, popularly known as the Bullet Train Project.
The consultancy contract covers project management services for the signalling and telecommunication system, SCADA system, and ticketing system of the country’s first high-speed rail corridor. The award follows the consultant’s proposal submission dated November 13, 2025, and subsequent contract negotiations held on January 28, 2026.
According to NHSRCL, the accepted contract price stands at Euro 2,20,77,226.40 and Rs 377.73 crore, inclusive of all applicable taxes, duties, levies, and statutory deductions.
The LoA will serve as a binding agreement between NHSRCL and the consultant until a formal contract is signed as per the tender conditions, NHSRCL stated. DeshGujarat
