Sasan Gir: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today visited Sasan Gir, the only natural habitat of Asiatic lions in the world, and praised Gujarat’s disciplined forest management and wildlife conservation efforts.

During his visit, CM Yadav said that Gujarat’s commitment to protecting lions is unparalleled. He lauded the conservation model developed under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and appreciated the Bhupendra Patel-led Gujarat government for maintaining an effective balance between forest protection and eco-tourism.

Speaking to the media, he expressed his desire to adopt key lessons from Gir’s successful wildlife management practices in Madhya Pradesh.

“Today, I had the opportunity to visit Gir National Park in Gujarat. The excellent management by the state government, its commitment to forest conservation, and the well-organised tourism arrangements are truly commendable. Madhya Pradesh also possesses immense potential from the perspective of tourism and forest wealth. We will continue to work towards making the forest areas and tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh even more enriched, attractive, and world-class by studying the experiences and better systems obtained here,” he said.
