Surat: Yet another accident caused by reckless driving occurred late Sunday night on Awadh Utopia Road in the city, when a speeding luxury car reportedly went out of control and rammed into several parked vehicles. Three people sustained injuries in the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of a Mahindra BE 6 electric car was allegedly speeding when he lost control of the vehicle. The car crashed into three parked cars and two mopeds, causing significant damage. As the accident occurred late at night and the vehicles were stationary, no fatalities occurred, though financial losses were substantial.

The driver has been identified as Viral Desai, who was also injured and shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Police said an investigation is underway to determine whether overspeeding, intoxication, or any medical condition contributed to the crash.

Following the incident, Dumas police reached the spot, seized the damaged vehicles, and initiated further inquiry. Officials said all aspects of the accident are being examined. DeshGujarat
