Sargasan society wins case against builder in GujRERA
February 04, 2026
Gandhinagar: Residents of Maruti Amrakunj-2 society in Sargasan celebrated after winning a case against their developer over missing amenities. The Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (GUJRERA) ordered the developer to install intercom facilities and percolating wells within three months and hand over essential project documents within 30 days.
GUJRERA issued the order after a consolidated hearing of two complaints filed by the society against M/s Bhanushree Realities and its partners, Kalubhai Zala-Vadiya and Mrugeshbhai Zala-Vadiya. Although the project received Building Use permission from the Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority in May 2019, residents approached the regulator to address the lack of promised amenities and pending documentation.
Society chairman Gaurav Desai, who argued the case himself, said the order came in the residents’ favor, with the developer immediately handing over a demand draft of Rs 5.50 lakh. DeshGujarat
