Ahmedabad: Abhyuday Bharat Projects Private Limited (ABPL) has been awarded the Army Civilian Excellence Award at the Southern Command Investiture Ceremony 2026 held in Ahmedabad.

The honour was conferred upon Dhaval Raval, Chairman and Managing Director, for ABPL’s support to the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor. Key contributions included the repair and overhauling of armoured vehicles, drone-flying training for frontline soldiers, and the joint development of the Sudarshan Tactical Surveillance and Payload Dropping Drone with the 611 EME Battalion, Ahmedabad. The drone has been selected by the Indian Army as an innovative product.

Aligned with the Government of India’s Make in India vision, ABPL is also setting up a defence cluster in Gujarat, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening indigenous defence capabilities. DeshGujarat
