BJP National President Nitin Nabin to visit Gujarat from Feb 20–22
February 13, 2026
Ahmedabad: National President of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Nabin, is scheduled to undertake a three-day visit to Gujarat from February 20 to 22, marking his first official tour of the state since taking charge of the party’s top post. Nabin, who is among the youngest leaders to head the organisation, is set to take part in a series of key organisational interactions and public outreach programmes.
During the visit, the national president is scheduled to hold extensive meetings with party workers, office-bearers, and elected representatives. The tour carries strategic importance as Gujarat is the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, with elaborate preparations already underway to welcome him.
It is learnt that a major convention is planned at the BJP’s state headquarters, Kamalam, where state leaders, MLAs, Members of Parliament, and district-level functionaries are expected to be present. In addition, plans are in progress for a large public meeting in Ahmedabad, while a symbolic roadshow is also being considered to mark his first visit as national president.
Nabin’s tour is being viewed as an early step toward preparations for upcoming municipal corporation and other local body elections. The visit also coincides with the party’s ongoing organisational restructuring at the city and district levels. DeshGujarat
