Stray Dog Menace: 13 People Attacked in Valsad

Valsad: Panic gripped Kailash Road in the city after a stray dog allegedly bit around 13 people on Thursday night, forcing the injured to seek treatment at a private hospital as well as Valsad Civil Hospital.
It is learnt that the dog attacked pedestrians, motorists, and children who were playing in the area. Several bikers sustained bite injuries to their legs. Doctors confirmed that all injured persons have been administered anti-rabies vaccination.
Local residents said they had repeatedly informed the municipality about the menace of stray dogs and animals in the locality, but no concrete action has been taken so far. With dog attacks reportedly increasing, fear has spread among residents.
People have expressed anger over the lack of response from authorities, stating that despite the seriousness of the issue, effective measures to control the stray dog problem are yet to be implemented. DeshGujarat
