Over ₹12.85 Crore Spent on Under-Construction Gujarat Vandana Museum in Two Years: Govt

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has spent ₹1,285.58 lakh over the past two years on the construction of the Gujarat Vandana Museum at Ekta Nagar, a project aimed at showcasing the state’s historical heritage.
In its reply to a question in the State Assembly, the government confirmed that it has initiated efforts to develop museums dedicated to presenting Gujarat’s historical legacy.
The government stated that work on the Gujarat Vandana Museum at Ekta Nagar is currently underway. The museum is being developed to highlight and exhibit various aspects of Gujarat’s historical and cultural heritage.
Regarding expenditure, the government informed that a total of ₹1,285.58 lakh has been spent on the project over the past two years. Of this, ₹837.18 lakh was incurred in 2024, while ₹359.50 lakh has been spent in 2025 so far. DeshGujarat
