Rann Utsav Draws 17.97 Lakh Tourists in 2 Years; Gujarat Govt Earns ₹17.06 Crore

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has generated revenue of ₹17.06 crore through premium management fees from the Rann Utsav over the past two years, as of December 31, 2025.
In response to a question asked in the State Assembly, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, who is in charge of the Tourism portfolio, informed that the government earned ₹17,06,35,668 during the Rann Utsav celebrations held between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025.
Providing year-wise tourist data, the government stated that 8,55,565 visitors attended the Rann Utsav between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. The number increased to 9,41,637 visitors between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
Overall, the festival recorded a combined footfall of 17,97,202 tourists over the two-year period, reflecting sustained interest in the state’s flagship tourism event. DeshGujarat
