Rajkot: A young woman was rescued just in time after allegedly attempting suicide by jumping from the 10th floor of a 13-storey residential building in the Vavdi area of the city. A video of the dramatic rescue has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread concern.

The incident occurred at the Surabhi Possible building on Punit Nagar Road in Vavdi, where the woman reportedly attempted to jump from the balcony of her flat. However, one of her relatives managed to grab her hand and hold on firmly, preventing her from falling. After a prolonged struggle, family members successfully pulled her back into the apartment, saving her life.

In the viral video, family members can be heard urging her to come back inside, repeatedly shouting, “Come up, come up,” while also calling out a child’s name in an attempt to calm her. The visibly distressed woman is heard crying and shouting while hanging precariously from the balcony.
