All flights to and from Gulf Countries remained cancelled on Sunday at Ahmedabad Airport

Ahmedabad: Several international flights to West Asian countries were cancelled at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, causing inconvenience to passengers on Sunday, 1st March. Most of these flights were cancelled a day ago on 28th February as well. The cancellation of flights is due to war like situation in Gulf countries, following Israel and America’s attacks on Iran in which Iran’s supreme leader and his family is dead. Iran has started counter attacks at multiple places of Gult countries and ships in strait of Hormuz.
Flights operated by Kuwait Airways to Kuwait City, Qatar Airways to Doha, and Emirates to Dubai remained cancelled. Services of Iraqi Airways to Baghdad and Etihad Airways to Abu Dhabi were also suspended. Air Arabia services to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi did not operate.
In addition, multiple flights operated by Indian carriers were affected. IndiGo flights to Jeddah, Kuwait City, Abu Dhabi and Dubai were cancelled, while SpiceJet flights to Sharjah and Dubai also remained grounded.
The available details show that these flights are to be remained cancelled on 2nd March as well.
