BJP Appoints Gujarat Dy CM Sanghavi as Observer for Haryana Rajya Sabha Polls

New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghavi, has been appointed as a central observer by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Haryana. The appointment was announced in a press release issued by BJP national general secretary Arun Singh on March 9, 2026.
According to the release, BJP national president Nitin Nabin approved the appointment of central observers for the Rajya Sabha elections in different states. Harsh Sanghavi has been assigned responsibility as the party’s observer for Haryana.
The party has also appointed observers for other states, including Vijay Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, and Harsh Malhotra, Union Minister of State, for Bihar, while Chandrashekhar Bawankule, a minister in the Maharashtra government, has been appointed observer for Odisha.
The observers will oversee party coordination and related organisational work during the Rajya Sabha election process in their respective states. DeshGujarat
