Domestic LPG Supply in Gujarat: Govt Says Stock Sufficient, Booking Available via WhatsApp, App, IVRS

Gandhinagar: The state government has clarified that sufficient stock of cooking gas (LPG) is available across Gujarat and has urged citizens not to pay attention to rumours regarding any shortage. Authorities said strict monitoring is being carried out to ensure uninterrupted supply of LPG cylinders, and citizens do not need to visit gas agencies or stand in queues to obtain refills.
Oil marketing companies have made adequate technological arrangements to ensure that LPG cylinders are delivered to consumers at their homes without inconvenience. Officials said all facilities have been provided so that citizens can book cylinders with just a click on their mobile phones.
Adequate stock is available for LPG booking and refill, and registered customers can easily book cylinders through WhatsApp, missed call, SMS/IVR service, mobile applications, and official online portals.

Officials said LPG can also be booked through the Bharat Bill Payment System using partner wallets and banking applications. All bookings are processed through a digital system and confirmation messages are sent to customers via SMS. Priority delivery is being given to domestic LPG consumers. The government said sufficient stock is available and buffer stock is also being increased continuously to ensure smooth delivery to households.
Customers say delivery is on time
Mahipal Singh Pratap Singh Parmar, a resident of Thasra in Kheda district, said Indane gas cylinders are being delivered regularly and on time. Another customer, Pareshbhai Vora, said there is no problem in the service and cylinders are delivered promptly after booking.
Nazimkhan Nabikhan Pathan of Kalsar village said cylinders are easily available and delivery is being done properly. Harishchandrasinh Bhati, manager of Khushi HP Gas Agency in Modasa, said sufficient stock is being supplied regularly and refill delivery is usually completed within two days. He appealed to citizens not to panic due to rumours.
Strict monitoring of LPG distribution
Revenue and police officials have been deployed for strict supervision at public-sector as well as private gas agencies across the state to ensure timely supply and prevent irregularities.
