RPO Ahmedabad to station Passport Seva Mobile Van in Gandhinagar for 3 days

Ahmedabad: To provide earlier passport appointment dates and strengthen last-mile delivery of passport services, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Ahmedabad, under an initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, will station a Passport Seva Mobile Van in Gandhinagar on March 30, April 1 and April 2.

The mobile van will be stationed at the Head Post Office, Sector-11, GH Road, near the New Collector Office, Gandhinagar, where applicants can submit passport applications. Citizens will also have the option to book fresh appointments or reschedule existing ones for the mobile van facility.

Appointments can be booked through the Passport India website (https://www.passportindia.gov.in) by submitting the application under the ‘Normal’ category and paying the application fee online, an official statement said. After completing the payment, applicants should log in again to the same portal to confirm the payment status and appointment details.

Applicants are advised to bring all necessary documents in original along with one set of self-attested copies while coming to submit passport applications. The list of required documents can be checked under the “Documents Advisor” tab on the website https://www.passportindia.gov.in/Advisory, the statement added.
