Amreli to get Rs. 270 crore Bypass Road; foundation stone laid

Amreli: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Amreli on Sunday and inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various development projects worth over ₹700 crore.
As part of the visit, the Chief Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a proposed 4-lane divided modern bypass road from Radheshyam Chowkdi to Nana Machiyala. The project is expected to give a significant boost to the district’s overall infrastructure.
Being developed by the state’s Roads and Buildings Department, the bypass will be constructed at a cost of over ₹270 crore.

Once completed, the bypass will ease the movement of heavy vehicles coming towards Amreli city from surrounding areas such as Bagsara, Babra, Lathi and Savarkundla. It is expected to reduce traffic congestion within the city and improve connectivity in the region.
Officials said the projects will accelerate infrastructure development in Amreli and enhance traffic management.
