Rajula/Surat: The case of a missing Hindu girl from Rajula in Amreli district has taken a new turn after a video, purportedly featuring her, surfaced on social media. In the video, the girl claims that she has married a Muslim man of her own free will and is safe.
The girl, identified as Neha Parmar, had left her home around 10 days ago, reportedly to attend a beauty parlour course in Surat. When she did not return and could not be contacted, her family lodged a missing person complaint.
Amid the ongoing investigation, a video went viral in which Neha states that she has entered into an interfaith marriage with a man named Muhiz Firani. She claims the decision was voluntary and denies being under any pressure. She also termed the protests and complaints filed by her family and certain groups as unfair.

In the video, she further states that if any harm comes to her, her husband, or his family, her own parents should be held responsible.
The girl has also alleged that her family was aware of her relationship for several years and had previously restricted her movements and subjected her to physical and mental harassment.
In a separate video message, the man identified as Muhiz Firani claimed that the two had been married for the past three months and were living together peacefully. He appealed to various organisations and individuals not to interfere or create pressure, stating that their decision was mutual. DeshGujarat
