Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar Metro Services to Face Partial Disruption on March 31; Check Timings

Ahmedabad: Metro services on the Ahmedabad–Gandhinagar route will be partially disrupted on March 31, 2026, the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) announced on Monday. The disruption is due to security arrangements in place for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Gandhinagar, where he will inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirth.
As per GMRC, metro services on the Ahmedabad–Gandhinagar route will remain non-operational between Koteshwar Road and GNLU from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Trains with following departure times from APMC for Mahatma Mandir/Gift City will run up to Koteshwar Road Metro Station only during these hours:
- 08:59 AM
- 09:11 AM
- 09:23 AM
- 09:48 AM
Trains with following departure times from Mahatma Mandir for APMC will run up to GNLU Metro Station only during these hours:
- 09:13 AM
- 09:37 AM
- 10:01 AM
Trains with following departure times from Gift City for APMC will be cancelled during these hours:
- 10:18 AM
Additionally, metro services between Infocity and Mahatma Mandir will remain suspended from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM.
Trains with following departure times from APMC for Mahatma Mandir will run up to Infocity Metro Station only during these hours only.:
- 10:36 AM
- 10:59 AM
Trains with following departure times from Mahatma Mandir for APMC will be cancelled during these hours.:
- 11:38 AM
- 12:03 PM
However, metro services on the APMC–Koteshwar Road and Vastral Gam–Thaltej Gam corridors will continue to operate as per the regular schedule, GMRC said.
