Tata Chemicals Hits 1 Million Tonne Soda Ash Output at Mithapur Plant in Gujarat

Mithapur: Tata Chemicals Limited has announced a key operational milestone, with its Mithapur facility in Gujarat reaching 1 million tonnes of soda ash production in FY 2025–26.
The milestone reflects consistent efforts and strong collaboration across teams, including operations, maintenance, utilities, logistics, procurement, quality, safety, and other support functions. The contribution of the marketing and sales teams has also been instrumental in enabling this achievement, the company said in a press release.
To mark the occasion, employees at the Mithapur site came together, with senior leadership inaugurating a commemorative plaque and unveiling a miniature replica of the one-millionth tonne bag of soda ash.
