Temperature to Rise, Hot and Humid Spell Expected in Gujarat from April 11

Ahmedabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of hot and humid weather conditions in parts of Gujarat later this week, while dry weather is expected to prevail across the state for the next few days.

According to the latest weather bulletin, discomfort due to hot and humid conditions is very likely over coastal areas of Gujarat and Saurashtra–Kutch between April 11 and April 14.

The IMD said there will be no major change in maximum temperatures over the next 24 hours. However, temperatures are expected to rise gradually by 2–4°C thereafter across the region.

For the immediate period, most parts of Gujarat, including Saurashtra–Kutch, Diu, Daman, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, are likely to experience dry weather from April 8 onwards.

Authorities have advised residents, especially in coastal areas, to be prepared for discomfort due to rising humidity levels in the coming days. DeshGujarat
