Ahmedabad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a change in the fixtures of the Gujarat Titans against the Chennai Super Kings for the ongoing TATA IPL 2026, with match venues for two key encounters now swapped.

According to the revised schedule, the afternoon fixture between GT and CSK, originally slated to be held in Ahmedabad, will now take place at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 26. The match will begin at 3:30 PM IST.

Meanwhile, the return fixture, earlier scheduled in Chennai, will now be hosted at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 21. The much-anticipated clash will be played as an evening game, starting at 7:30 PM IST.

The BCCI stated that the change in venues has been necessitated due to municipal corporation elections scheduled across Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat on April 26.

Ticket Update for Fans

The franchise has also issued an important update for fans who had booked tickets for the April 26 match in Ahmedabad through BookMyShow.

Ticket holders will receive communication via SMS, WhatsApp, or email with two options:

• Retain the ticket and attend the rescheduled match on May 21
• Cancel the ticket and opt for a refund

Fans must respond by April 20, 2026, at 12 PM. In the absence of a response, tickets will be considered retained for the new match date.

For those opting for a refund, physical tickets must be returned, with detailed instructions to be shared on April 21. Refunds will be processed only after successful ticket submission. DeshGujarat
