Kandla Port to Scale Up Green Hydrogen Plant Capacity to 10 MW

Gandhidham: The Deendayal Port Authority, which manages Kandla Port, had invited tenders for a major civil infrastructure project aimed at expanding its green hydrogen production capacity. The project involves scaling up an existing 1 MW plant by an additional 5 MW, with provisions to further enhance capacity up to 10 MW in the future.
According to the tender document, the estimated project cost is ₹22.05 crore, and the work is expected to be completed within 12 months.
The project focuses on developing civil infrastructure using common facilities to support green hydrogen production, an area gaining importance in India’s clean energy transition. The tender includes provisions for infrastructure such as buildings, structural works, roads, drainage systems, and other associated civil components.
As per the tender document, the initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen green hydrogen infrastructure at the port, aligning with national goals of promoting sustainable and clean energy solutions. DeshGujarat
