Japan K Pathak, Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has achieved 52.51% vote share in Municipality elections, also known as Nagarpalika polls. The party had got 52.52% vote share in 2021 polls in Municipal elections. Thus the party has maintained its vote share.

Among oppositions, Congress has got 30.68% vote share in 2026, which is little more than  28.98% in 2021. AAP has 4.49% vote share in 2026 which is similar to 4.14% in 2021. AIMIM has increased its vote share from 0.70% to 1.63% in municipalities.

BJP has won 1988 of 2624 seats that comes to 75.76% domination. Congress has won 17.49% seats, wile AAP has won 18 seats or 0.6859% of total seats. AIMIM has won 14 seats, which comes to 0.5335%. DeshGujarat
