BJP wins over 75% seats in Gujarat local polls 2026, Congress over 17%, AAP less than 5%

Japan K Pathak, Gandhinagar: Out of total 9,999 seats that were up for polls in Gujarat local body elections 2026(including local by by-polls), the ruling BJP won 7,501 seats which is 75.02% domination on the results.

The main opposition Congress party could win 1,740 of 9,999 seats meaning 17.40% seats won.
