₹1.5 Crore Flight Simulator Inaugurated at Patan Science Center

Patan: Gujarat Foundation Day was celebrated at the Patan Science Center today, marked by the inauguration of a new flight simulator developed at a cost of approximately ₹1.5 crore.
The simulator, a key attraction at the centre, offers visitors an immersive experience of space travel, allowing them to virtually journey to the Moon and Mars. Officials said the facility is designed to promote scientific curiosity and provide an engaging, educational experience for students and the general public.
District Collector Tushar Bhatt, District Development Officer C. L. Patel, and Project Director of the Patan Science Center, Dr. Sumit Shastri, were present at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Collector Bhatt said the simulator would give visitors a realistic feel of being at a space centre.
The event highlighted ongoing efforts to promote science education in the region. A summer science campaign has been organised by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) as part of these initiatives. DeshGujarat
