IN-SPACe Signs MoUs with Gujarat Institutes to Boost Space Talent Pipeline
May 01, 2026
New Delhi: The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Gujarat-based institutions to develop a future-ready talent pool for India’s rapidly growing space industry.
The agreements with Kaushalya – The Skill University (KSU), Ahmedabad, and the New Age Makers Institute of Technology (NAMTECH), Gandhinagar, are aimed at strengthening the space ecosystem through targeted skill development and promotional initiatives.
Under the three-year MoUs, IN-SPACe will work with both institutions to identify areas of collaboration, introduce relevant academic programmes, and connect learners with emerging players in the space sector. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements while creating a strong pipeline of skilled talent.
IN-SPACe chairman Pawan Goenka said the partnerships come at a time when India’s space sector is witnessing increased participation from private players and academia, making it crucial to build an industry-aligned talent base to drive innovation and global competitiveness.
The partnerships will also enable co-development of courses in space science and technology, along with internships, immersion programmes, workshops, hackathons, and industry-led engagements to promote hands-on learning. DeshGujarat
