Ahmedabad: Authorities at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport have issued a passenger advisory announcing the temporary closure of runway 05/23 on May 6 for scheduled maintenance work.

According to the advisory, the runway will remain closed between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to facilitate pre-monsoon maintenance and repair activities. Officials said the planned work is necessary to ensure passenger safety and maintain smooth and efficient airport operations.

Passengers travelling on the day have been advised to check with their respective airlines for any updates or changes to flight schedules.
