Ankleshwar: The resurfacing work of a road connecting Andada village in Ankleshwar to National Highway 48 has officially commenced. The foundation stone for the project, which is estimated to cost ₹2 crore, was laid by MLA Ramesh Mistry.
The event witnessed the presence of local leaders and a large number of villagers. The project involves the construction of a 5.5-metre-wide RCC road. Additionally, a bund and a protective wall will be built along the roadside to ensure proper drainage of rainwater.
Notably, the project has been sanctioned under the ₹300 crore development package allocated by the state government for Bharuch district, out of which ₹2 crore has been earmarked for this road.
Once completed, the road will provide direct and convenient connectivity from Andada village to National Highway 48, benefiting local residents and improving transportation in the area. DeshGujarat
