Kutch: A suspected Pakistani boat was found abandoned near Koteshwar in the sensitive creek area of Kutch. The unclaimed vessel was intercepted by the Border Security Force (BSF) during a routine patrolling exercise in the Padala creek area.

According to preliminary investigations, security personnel recovered fishing equipment and personal belongings from the boat. However, in a significant relief for security agencies, no objectionable or suspicious items were found on board during the initial search.

Following the incident, maritime security along the Gujarat coast has been further tightened. Security agencies have deployed personnel for round-the-clock patrolling to monitor the region and prevent any breach of coastal security.

Authorities are investigating the origin of the boat and whether any persons had entered Indian territory before abandoning the vessel. DeshGujarat
