Jamnagar illuminated ahead of PM Modi’s visit; Public Welcome Programme at Lal Bangla Circle

Jamnagar: Ahead of the two-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jamnagar on May 10 and 11, the city has been extensively decorated for his arrival.

The route from the Air Force Station to Lal Bangla Circle has been illuminated with decorative lighting, while major locations including Darbargarh, D.K.V. College, Bedi Naku, Pawanchakki, Annapurna Circle and Mahakali Circle have also been lit up.

Documentary films highlighting public welfare schemes implemented under the leadership of the Prime Minister are being screened at major traffic circles across the city.

A public welcome programme has been organised at Lal Bangla Circle at around 7:30 pm on May 10. Gujarati folk singer Kirtidan Gadhvi is scheduled to perform during the event.

Traditional cultural performances including Hudo Raas, Sidi Dhamal Nritya and Maniyaro Raas will also be presented by Raas mandalis and folk artists from the Saurashtra region. DeshGujarat
