Zydus’s Pankaj Patel Announces Rs. 500 crore Zydus Sardardham University in Ahmedabad

Vadodara: Pankaj Ramanbhai Patel, an Ahmedabad-based Gujarati billionaire businessman, and the chairman of Zydus Lifesciences, the fifth largest pharmaceutical company in India today announced Rs. 500 crore donation for setting up Zydus Sardardham University in Ahmedabad. He along with Sardardham’s Pradhan Sevak Gagjibhai Sutariya made this announcement in an inauguration function of Sardardham-3 in Vadodara in the presence of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi and scores of Patidar community leaders. In October 2024, Patel was ranked 24th on the Forbes list of India’s 100 richest tycoons, with a net worth of $10.2 billion. Sardardham is Patidar community organization which serves needy Patidar community youths and train them for competitive exams and skill development. Sardardham headquarters is located in Sardar Patel ring road in Ahmedabad. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated third education complex of Sardardham in Vadodara today. DeshGujarat
