Gandhinagar: CTBC Bank⁠ on Wednesday announced the opening of its new branch at GIFT City. CTBC Bank is the only Taiwanese Bank with branch presence in India and the first Taiwanese Bank to establish a presence in GIFT City, Gujarat. The inauguration ceremony also featured a traditional Lion Dance performance, symbolizing prosperity, good fortune, strength, and the ushering in of new beginnings in Asian culture.

The establishment of the GIFT City Branch aims at supporting cross border financing, trade, investment flows, treasury solutions, and financial connectivity between India, Taiwan, Asia, and global markets. The new branch will be serving clients In Indian subcontinent and Taiwan.
