Mobile Phone Blast Leaves Bike Rider Injured in Songadh

Surat: A mobile phone explosion incident was reported in Songadh town of South Gujarat on Tuesday, leaving a biker seriously injured. The incident occurred while Dipak Manohar, a resident of Nandurbar in neighboring Maharashtra, was riding his motorcycle over an over bridge in Songadh.

According to reports, the mobile phone kept in Manohar’s pocket overheated due to the scorching heat and exploded suddenly. The impact of the blast caused severe injuries, following which he collapsed on the road.

Locals immediately rushed to help and informed the 108 emergency ambulance service. Manohar was first taken to a hospital in Songadh and was later referred to a hospital in Vyara for further treatment. The exact cause of the blast is yet to be officially confirmed. DeshGujarat
