Watch | A team of animal rescuers safely rescued three snakes from an air conditioner unit at a house in the Railway Faliya area of Pardi in Gujarat’s Valsad district. The snakes were identified as Common Bronzeback Tree Snakes, a non-venomous species.
Interestingly, a similar incident was reported in the first week of March this year when five snakes of the same species were found inside an AC unit in Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier too, the same species had been spotted inside air conditioners in parts of Odisha, West Bengal and other regions.
According to rescuers, the snakes are believed to have entered the AC unit through the outlet pipe used for water drainage. DeshGujarat
