Adani Gas Imposes Another Price Hike; CNG rate in Ahmedabad now at Rs. 86.02 per Kg

Gandhinagar: Adani Total Gas Ltd. has once again increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by ₹2.25 per kg in Ahmedabad. With the latest revision, the retail price of CNG has reached ₹86.02 in Ahmedabad.

The hike comes at a time when fuel prices and essential commodities have already seen an upward trend, further burdening consumers.

Recent Price Trend Shows Continued Increase

Although Adani had provided brief relief by reducing CNG prices by ₹1.21 on January 1, 2026, the rates have since been increased thrice this year:

February 7, 2026 – ₹0.50 hike

April 2, 2026 – ₹1.50 hike

May 16, 2026 – ₹2.25 hike
