Surat: Dr. Dharitri Parmar, the in-charge superintendent of Surat New Civil Hospital, has been transferred with immediate effect following alleged administrative lapses flagged during a surprise inspection by Health Minister Praful Panseria.

During the visit, issues related to cleanliness, patient inconvenience and management were reportedly observed, prompting the health department to take strict action.
