Surat Civil In-Charge Superintendent Transferred After Minister’s Surprise Visit

Surat: Dr. Dharitri Parmar, the in-charge superintendent of Surat New Civil Hospital, has been transferred with immediate effect following alleged administrative lapses flagged during a surprise inspection by Health Minister Praful Panseria.
During the visit, issues related to cleanliness, patient inconvenience and management were reportedly observed, prompting the health department to take strict action. Dr. Dharitri Parmar has now been appointed Dean at Vadodara Government Medical College, while Dr. Parul Vadgama has been given charge of Surat Civil Hospital. DeshGujarat
