Gandhinagar: In yet another such incident, a customer allegedly found a dead cockroach in a pizza served at the Taranovas Pizza outlet in the Kudasan area of Gandhinagar, raising concerns over food hygiene and safety standards at the restaurant. A video purportedly showing the insect inside the pizza has now gone viral on social media, triggering criticism and demands for action against the outlet.

According to available information, a local family had visited the restaurant over the weekend for dinner. The outlet was reportedly offering a “Buy One Get One Free” scheme to attract customers. The family ordered pizza and had started eating when they allegedly noticed a cockroach embedded in a slice between the cheese and sauce after consuming a few bites.

The family was reportedly shocked by the discovery and immediately informed the restaurant staff and manager, registering a protest over the incident.

A customer also recorded a video of the alleged incident on a mobile phone. The footage, which has since circulated widely on social media, appears to show a cockroach in a slice of pizza.

Following the viral video, some citizens have demanded immediate action against the outlet and urged authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate steps if any violations are found.
