Surat: A major student housing and educational infrastructure project developed by the Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj, an organization representing the Patel community in Surat, is set to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on May 24. The newly constructed Jamnaba Vidyarthi Bhavan, located on the Surat-Kamrej main road, has been built with modern facilities and is designed to accommodate 1,000 students in its first phase.

According to Kanjibhai Bhalala, president of the organization, Phase 1 of the project has been completed, while Phase 2, which includes the Kiran Mahila Bhavan for 500 female students, is also nearing completion and is expected to be inaugurated soon. The combined investment in both projects stands at around Rs 200 crore.
